What Al Aafiya can do for you
We provide accessible, informal support for those experiencing:
Anxiety
Depression
Stress
Emotional trauma
Loneliness
Domestic abuse
Challenges of asylum or refugee status
Al Aafiya Mental Health & Wellbeing Service CIC is a community-based, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing low to medium level mental health difficulties. We work closely with vulnerable groups in our local communities — from refugees and asylum seekers to elderly individuals and domestic violence survivors.
We offer a safe, non-clinical space for people to talk, reflect, and find strength through support. Our approach is informal, confidential, and built around empathy, trust, and cultural sensitivity.
We help individuals identify their strengths, support networks, and coping strategies to manage life’s challenges.
We connect you to other organisations and services that can provide further support, depending on your specific needs.
We provide emotional wellbeing reports and support letters, especially for individuals undergoing immigration processes or legal challenges.
